carbonhassan terrifyingly good. he carved a sculpture out of a stone made of compressed domestic horrors. the vulgar and ugly butt up against transcendent beauty. the materials used throughout are unnaturally fantastic and put together in ways for which the closest reference points are biblical vulgates and other forms of decadence and decline - rich in figure and nightmarish in implication. Favorite track: The Entrance of Cold (feat. Molina, Samantha Urbani & SRSQ).
Pip From The Forge

Pip From The Forge Definitely one of the boldest and most interesting albums I have heard in quite a long while. Do yourself a favor, put it on replay and let the darkness swallow you whole. Absolute masterpiece. Favorite track: Finale Voices.

Whyte Rushan next level, I heard this track on 95BFM, and then I googled the flower Favorite track: Corpse Flower.

Mark Neal those 80s synthy good vibes will melt your face off Favorite track: Perish (feat. Geneva Jacuzzi).

MichaelHockus been a pretty hardcore fan of the Elbrecht output since mid-2000s, and this here is the album I revisit the most of the modern repertoire (though all of it rips).
the atmosphere is completely riveting. all the hallmarks: ancient tones, complex melodic interplay, beautiful vocals, intense collabs.
Minus Sign finale drums signal a cyber chariot race, Apparition a pitch shifted horror shriek techno slam, this album will make tonight extra cozy under its polka dotted blankie.
Favorite track: Finale Voices.

about

Approved and authorized by the estate of Jorge Elbrecht, 'Gloss Coma - 002' is a magic realist torture pop LP, a vision of boundless punishment & retribution aimed at the malevolent elitism and privilege of our era. Verses of warning, samples, synthesized drums & instruments, sadness, distortion and violence interlock & coil within. 'Gloss Coma - 002' continues what songs like "Endless Fire" and "Guillotine," from Elbrecht's 2018 LP 'Here Lies' set in motion, including collaborations and features with like-minded comrades of an increasingly tortured earth. Available in limited permafrost purple/black, or purple/white/clear splatter as well as classic black vinyl, the first 50 vinyl pre-orders (of each color) will receive a limited edition linoleum block print (numbered & signed in blood) created by Jorge Elbrecht. Each print is individually pressed by hand. And each color vinyl will feature a different block print design. Color scheme of print TBD.
